Apple Update Allows Mask Wearers to Unlock Phones with Face ID

March 10, 2022 — Apple’s new iOS 15.4 update will allow masked people to unlock their iPhones with Face ID starting next week.

“We’re excited to introduce the new Siri voice for English users, giving users more options to choose the voice that suits them.” – Apple. Axios said.

The iOS update has 37 new emojis, including two that say “pregnant man” and “pregnant man.” The emoticons are meant to acknowledge that pregnancy is possible for some transgender men and non-binary people.

“iOS 15.4 will be available as a free software update starting next week,” Apple added in the fine print. In the news release published on Tuesday about the new features of the iPhone 13.

According to The Verge, Apple hasn’t announced an exact release date, but it could become available on March 18 when the new phones arrive. It is planned that each phone will ship with a new operating system.
