Aquaman 2, Flash, and Black Adam delayed, Shazam 2 moved to 2022
Warner Bros. made some shuffling of the calendar. Release dates Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Flash, Black Adam, Shazam! Fury of the gods, DC Super Pet League, Wonkaas well as Meg 2 everyone moved and most of them got big delays.
The first of the upcoming changes Black Adam from July 29 release to October 21 new date. Transition to a new free date DC Super Pet Leaguewhich was originally supposed to be released on May 20.
Possibly the least surprising delay on the list Aquaman 2. The Arthur Curry sequel was originally scheduled to release on December 16, the same day that Avatar 2 his long-awaited arrival is scheduled. Aquaman 2 will now be released on March 17, 2023. Flash is also carried over to the next year, from November 4 to June 23, 2023.
Despite all these moves, Warner Bros. does not completely abandon December 2022. Shazam! Fury of the godswhich was supposed to release sometime in 2023, will now be pushed back to December 12th.
Finally, in non-superhero news, Warner Bros. announced that it was postponing Timothée Chalamet’s film. Wonka a few months ago, from March 17, 2023 to December 15, 2023, Warner also announced the official date Meg 2the sequel to the giant shark film, which was an unexpected box office success. Meg 2 will arrive on August 4, 2023.
