Ashen Devs Reveal New RPG Flintlock: The Siege Of Dawn
Developer A44 Games, studio Ashen and publisher Kepler Interactive have unveiled a new open-world RPG called Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn. While a release date for the game has yet to be announced, the studio has confirmed that it will be launching Day One on Xbox Game Pass.
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn follows a young woman named Nor Vanek who is a member of the coalition army. She has various weapons at her disposal, including a pistol and an ax. Her companion, Enki, is endowed with magical powers that will help her fight the gods. Nor Vanek has some personal scores to settle with the gods and must reunite the Blackstream sappers, a group of explosives and weapons experts, to help her on her journey.
The game features an open world where players can fly through deserts, travel through ruins, and explore the mysterious City of Dawn. The trailer shows Nor Vanek fighting several skeleton enemies before another creature tries to ambush her from behind. Enki uses his magic to immobilize the enemy and gives Nor Vanek the opportunity to shoot him at point-blank range.
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn releases later this year for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
