How to Find Shelter in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok
Finding these Vaults is essential to progressing the main story in Dawn of Ragnarok, and many of the side quests are related to them. On your travels, you will stumble upon Dwarves in Distress, who, after being rescued, usually return to the nearest hideout and reward you with materials for rescuing them. But how to find them?
The main campaign begins with a brief explanation that roughly indicates the location of each hideout. There are four of them in Dawn of Ragnarok, and if you zoom in on the map, you can see drawings of each of them. Unfortunately, this is only a rough guide.
Luckily, they are pretty easy to find. Each is marked with a question mark, and when you get close, Xavi will mention looking for signs to point you in the right direction. If you use Odin’s Gaze, these markers will be highlighted with green circles, which are orange arrows. Interacting with these signs will turn your camera in the right direction and you will soon find a cave that you can drop down into and that leads to a hideout below.
Each shelter has a forge, a trading post, and Reda’s or Thousand Eyes shop. However, there are also unique manufacturers. They are:
- Yordber Shelter: stable and aviary
- Yordeigr Shelter: Tattoo parlor, Shipyard, Fisherman’s hut, Booze
- Shelter Hodda: Stables and aviary, barracks
- Grenhelier’s Orphanage: Tattoo Parlor, Gem Collector
The Gem Collector is a slightly odd character who will trade your jewelry for a special item: uncut gems. (Hehe)
