The mid-season update set two brings two new weapons to both Vanguard and Warzone. The Ice Ax melee weapon and the Armaguerra 43 submachine gun can be unlocked either for free. By completing an in-game challenge or by purchasing a cosmetic pack from the in-game store. The Ice Ax is described as both a melee weapon and a throwing weapon. Gustavo dos Santos will arrive as the new cameraman. Binding Anna Drake and Thomas Bolt as the final member of the Season 2 Yeti task force. Renaissance Island Map Changes
Season 2 kicked off with new equipment, features, and attractions for Caldera, and now a mid-season update should visually change the smaller map of Rebirth Island. Activision has previously stated that the current limited-time Iron Trials mode on Spawn Island will be the last mode for the map and serve as an encore for the current iteration of the Cold War-era Black Ops prison island. Here’s what we know so far, and some speculation on what the changes could mean for the future of Warzone.

At the launch of Season 2, Activision teased a new “Arms Race” mode that would take place on the upcoming large-scale map. The arms race is described as the use of armored motorcycles, squad vehicles, and tanks to destroy enemy bases. Not much is known about this upcoming mode, but Activision has said that Sledgehammer Games will provide more details at a later date.
Vanguard multiplayer recently received a few sniper rifle changes, but Sledgehammer Games has detailed some of the changes that have been delayed until the mid-season update.
