Darkrai And Arceus Arrive In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond And Shining Pearl Today
The next pair of Mythical Pokémon is ready to appear in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl!
the pokemon company announced that Pitch-Back Pokémon Darkrai and Alpha Pokémon Arceus will be available to fish later today, March 15, when the 1.3.0 software update is released.
These two extremely powerful and intimidating pocket monsters (who are no match for the embodiment of darkness and, well, a Poké God, are they?) have their own unique mining methods. If Pokemon trainers have ever played the original Diamond and Pearl, then a lot of this will probably sound familiar to you!
To capture the centaur-like Arceus, you’ll need a Pokémon Legends: Arceus save the file on the Switch and you must complete all of the main missions. You also need to enter the Hall of Fame and become the proud owner of the National Dex in Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl. Then return to your bedroom where you can get the Azure Flute. Take this flute to the top of Mount Coronet and play it at the Pillar of the Spear, where Arceus will appear and be ready for battle. Bring many poke balls.
While Arceus’ capture method adds a Pokémon Legends requirement, Darkrai’s dream eater is identical to its DS counterpart. You need to get a membership card, which you can get between new moons through the Mystery Gift feature. And just like with Arceus, you’ll need to defeat the Elite Four and Champion Sinnoh to enter the Hall of Fame and earn this cute, cute expanded Pokédex.
You’ll be able to download the update at 1:00 AM UTC / 9:00 PM EST / 6:00 PM PST, so you have time to fill your bag with Full Recovery and Poké Balls and get your team ready.
