Diablo 2 Veterans Set Up New Studio to Work on Original IP

Two veteran developers who played leading roles in Diablo 2 are working on the original game at the newly formed studio Moon Beast Productions.

Diablo 2 lead artist and writer Phil Schenk has teamed up with classic RPG lead designer Peter Hu to use their years of experience to develop an all-new game.

We recently named Diablo 2 the 49th best game of all time, stating that it “has momentum you can’t miss.” We said that the recent remaster of Diablo 2: Resurrected “masterfully preserves the mood of a standalone game and at the same time keeps the gameplay the way it has been for over a decade – mostly for the better, sometimes for the worse.”
