Dragon Ball Anime Series Now Streaming On Crunchyroll

For the first time, the iconic anime series Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z,

And Dragon Ball GT is now available to watch on the Sony Crunchyroll. Streaming service in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. According to the release, this is more than 500 episodes of these series. Which until now were only available on Funimation.

The arrival of Dragon Ball on the service as part of Funimation’s transition to Crunchyroll. Which was announced in early March. In a previous release, this spring’s upcoming content. Which will release on April 1st, promises to be “the biggest ever” for Crunchyroll. Regarding the earlier announcement, a Crunchyroll spokesperson told GameSpot. That the combined teams are “working hard to ensure that Crunchyroll fans can continue to enjoy a solid anime offering every season…We can confidently say a lot more every season.”

It quickly became a popular series with remarkable staying power – 38 years later. Dragon Ball is now spawning four television series, 20 feature films, a slew of video games. And a wide range of licensed merchandise.

For beginners, Crunchyroll offers brief overviews of each series:

  • Goku is a strange boy with a fluffy tail who hunts and eats all day long until he meets Bulma, an overbearing beauty with boyish brains.
  •  Z: Goku – the strongest fighter on the planet – is all that stands between humanity and villains from the darkest corners of space.
  • GT: Dragon Balls have been scattered all over the world, and if Goku can’t collect them in a year, the Earth will face the ultimate disaster.

According to the same release, the entire franchise has sold a “record-breaking 260 million copies worldwide”.
