EA Gets Back Into MLB Games With MLB Tap Sports Baseball 22, Out Now

Electronic Arts are taking us to the ball game for the first time in 17 years as MLB Tap Sports Baseball 2022 is now available on mobile. The new installment in the longtime baseball franchise is EA’s first foray into the American pastime since MVP Baseball 2005. EA’s involvement comes with the acquisition of game developer Glu Mobile in April 2021. Featuring Philadelphia Phillies outfielder and 2021 National League MVP Bryce Harper as the cover athlete.

MLB Tap Sports Baseball 2022 added a host of new features, including the following:

• New Avatar allows you to customize the team and level up in the game.
• A new challenge level called Champion Tier can bring players some of the biggest rewards in the game.
• New leader system
• More rewards for club events and weekly challenges.

The game also features new visual improvements, including over 300 new motion capture animations, as well as a streamlined user interface for an easier gameplay experience.
