Elden Ring Dectus Medallion location

Looking for the two halves of the Dectus medallion in Elden Ring? Once you’ve defeated Godric the grafted in Stormvale Castle, you’ll have a lot of choices about where to go. If you want to visit Lukaria’s Paradise Academy, you will need the Glintstone Key. Similarly, if you want to travel to the Altus Plateau and Leindell, the royal capital, you will need a Dectus Medallion to unlock the Dectus Grand Elevator. This is a Souls game, so of course, it’s not easy. The problem is that this medallion is in two parts, and they are in two completely different areas. In this guide, we will tell you the location of both sides of the Dectus medallion in the Old Circle, so you can mount your trusty steed and quickly travel to the glorious capital of Interearth.

Location of Elden Ring Dectus Medallions

That The first half of the medallion can be found in a chest in Fort Haight, on the southernmost tip of East Limgrave. Pass through the Misty Forest, make your way to the fort, and destroy the commander. Head right along the battlements and climb the tallest tower to find this medallion half in a chest. The item description of the first half of the medallion indicates what you should be looking for in the second half at Fort Faroth in Calida.

Where to find Fort Faroth in Elden Ring

Faroth Fort is pretty hard to find because technically it’s in Dragonbarrow and not in the main expanses of Caelid. Travel to Fort Farrot, keeping an eye out for the giant dragons, and enter the fort. Beware: it’s filled with bat enemies, but you can run through and climb the stairs at the far end. The second medallion is at the top of the tower in a chest.

Location Elden Ring Grand Lift of Dectus

Now that you have both sides of the Dectus Medallion, you can head to the elevator and unlock it to access the Altus Plateau where Leindell is located. Keep in mind that this is a later game zone, so there are a lot of very strong enemies here. You’ll also have to fight your way through the defenses around the elevator itself, though I recommend using the Elden Ring, Torrent mount to bypass them and jump from the side.

Good luck on the Altus Plateau!
