Elden Ring Mimic Tear spirit ash location

Of the many spirit ashes in Elden Ring, only Mimic Tear gives you a twin of your own. Don’t let the word “imitate” scare you. This is not a challenge that will suddenly slap you in the face. No, this spiritual ash summons a ghost version of your character. Try double command ahead!

One of the nice things about calling Mimic Tears is that, unlike most other spiritual ashes, using it won’t cost you Focus Points. Instead, it takes a fraction of your health to fuel your ghostly body counterpart. When summoned, your Mimic will have the same armor, weapons, and spells as your Tarnished one. Your body double can also use their own flasks and some other items, making them more likely than many other spirits.

Mimic Tear Spirit Ash Location: Nokron, The Eternal City

To get to the ashes of Mimic Tear, you need to unlock the Sacred Land of Night. If you haven’t already, you’re in for a little trip, so buckle up.

The short version is that you’ll need to start the Ranny quest, fight one of the most tricky bosses in the Elden Ring: Starscourge Radan, and then travel to Nokron, the Eternal City, digging into the ground near Fore Haight West. Assuming you’ve done all that, continue on your merry way through Knockron.

Accordingly, you will have to fight a clone of your character as a boss in order to get through this area. After defeating your twin, continue your journey clockwise and down the rooftops of Nokron until you reach the place of grace of the Forest of Ancestors. You are already close and you will need to do some extra parkour to get to your final destination.

Head southwest and down the rooftops, ledges, and balconies. After you find the rooftop courtyard, head east across another ledge, a broken arch, and then through the window into the chapel. You did it! You brought the stone sword key, didn’t you? Open the wall of mist in this chapel using the key on the imp statue nearby and kill the last unsuspecting enemy standing between you and the chest containing this spirit’s ashes.

This walkthrough below from Gaming With Abyss does a great job of showing you the fast track through Knocron to the chapel.
