EVO 2022 Announces Its Smash-Free Roster Of Fighting Games

 

Late last month, it was officially confirmed that the Super Smash Bros. from Nintendo will not be featured at EVO 2022. She has appeared at the world’s largest fighting game tournament since 2007 and was seen as a major blow to the event at the time.

Fast forward to today’s Twitch lineup introduction – so which fighting games made the list? Here is the complete list: Street Fighter V: Champion Edition, Guilty Gear, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, Tekken 7, King of Fighters XV, Melty Blood: Type Lumina, Dragon Ball SlayerZ, Granblue Fantasy: Vs as well as Skullgirls: 2nd Encore.

As noted, registration for the event is now open and will be held in person from August 5th to 7th at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. And if you missed the news about Brothers Super Smash. eliminated from the tournament, here is EVO’s official statement for the last week:
