F-Zero X Is Now Available On Switch Online’s Expansion Pack

Original article [Wed 9th Mar 2022 01:05 GMT]: The Nintendo N64 library for the Switch Online Expansion Pack service may have been a little underwhelming at release, but it’s already improved a lot since then. We have already seen games like Banjo-Kazooie as well as The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Maskand next in line is a futuristic racer F-zero Xstarring Captain Falcon & Co.

This absolute classic arrives this week, March 11th. On its social media, Nintendo reminded Expansion Pack members that they will now be able to compete against up to three friends online:

“Choose from 30 different race cars, including remastered versions of the Blue Falcon and other vehicles from the original F-Zero™, and get ready to speed up! Race to the finish line on tracks that twist and turn through the air. However, you will have to avoid the other 29 cars on the track or you will face the consequences! Destroy rivals in a deadly race. You can also challenge up to three friends in Versus mode. Five separate game modes, hidden vehicles and routes, and a great soundtrack. F-Zero X is a worthy racing game to come back to!”
