Farthest Frontier Announced from the Developers of Grim Dawn

Crate Entertainment, developers of the 2016 award-winning RPG Grim Dawn, have announced their next project: the city-building game Farthest Frontier. It will be released on PC, though no release date or window has been announced yet. Get your first look in the announcement trailer above.

You will hunt, harvest, fish, and farm, crafting items and strategizing to protect your villagers (and later townspeople and city dwellers as you build your settlement) from both Mother Nature and outside influences. threats from other people. For those who want to peacefully build their city, a pacifist mode will be available.

Farthest Frontier also promises “the most detailed farming system,” described as follows: “Strategically select one of 10 crops with unique growing characteristics and adjust crop rotation to maintain soil fertility, avoid heat and frost damage, and prevent disease buildup. your fields over time, removing weeds and rocks, increasing fertility, and adjusting soil composition to achieve maximum yields to feed a growing population.”

Randomly generated maps, resource management, townspeople with their own unique daily routines, and Oregon Trail-style sickness will all be part of the gameplay as well.
