Genki’s Waveform Earbuds Connect to Two Consoles at the Same Time

Human Things, the team behind Genki products like Shadowcast, has launched a new Kickstarter project: a pair of wireless headphones that will let you connect to two consoles at the same time.

As noted on his Kickstarter pageGenki Waveform uses Human Things’ new DualStream technology, which allows the headphones to output sound from two separate devices at the same time.

So, for example, if you want to use them with your Nintendo Switch and want to start a voice chat from the Nintendo Switch Online mobile app, Genki Waveform will let you connect to both without having to switch between one device over the other.

While Nintendo released Bluetooth support on the Nintendo Switch last September, performance varies depending on the headset/headphones being used.

Of course, the Nintendo Switch isn’t the only console you can connect Waveform to; Human Things has confirmed that Waveform is compatible with all Bluetooth-enabled devices. This includes other game consoles such as PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The Genki Waveform also features adaptive noise cancellation, “ultra-low” latency, and promises up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge. Human Things has also confirmed that the Waveform case supports wireless charging.

Although Genki Waveform has surpassed its $50,000 funding goal, you can still support the project on Kickstarter until April 15th. With a $199 Kickstarter donation, you will receive one pair of Waveform headphones.
