Ghostwire: Tokyo – Prelude Visual Novel Available For Free On PS5 And PS4 Today

Tango Gameworks and Bethesda have announced the free release of Ghostwire: Tokyo – Prelude, a visual novel that explores the events six months before Ghostwire: Tokyo. This story follows KK, the supernatural phantom that eventually possesses Ghostwire: Tokyo’s protagonist, Akito. In that visual novel prequel, KK in his human form as he and his supernatural team of detectives investigate a missing friend’s lead. With each playthrough of the visual novel, players will learn more about KK’s backstory, and details about his team before the chaotic events of the main game take place. Tokyo: Ghostwire game director Kenji Kimura says the visual novel will help players expand their interpretation of the game’s universe.

Ghostwire: Tokyo – Prelude is available as a free download on PS4 and PS5, with a PC version releasing on March 8 on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Ghostwire: Tokyo releases for PlayStation 5 and PC on March 25th.
