Rockstar Games will release Major car theft five and a separate version of Grand Theft Auto Online for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X on March 15 – a new and native version of the game with additional graphical and gameplay improvements. Standalone version GTA Online requires 86.84 GB of storage space on PS5.

Transferring GTA 5 and GTA Online Saves from PS4/Xbox One

Rockstar Games will allow PS4 and Xbox One versions of players’ Grand Theft Auto 5 to transfer saved stories and GTA Online profiles to next-generation versions of games.

Migrate your GTAV Saving a game in story mode involves the following steps:

1. Make sure your Rockstar Games Social Club account is linked to your preferred console account.

2. Download your GTAV Story Mode Save game progress from PlayStation 4 or Xbox One to Rockstar Games Social Club

3. Opening GTAV on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S and loading a game save

Players can update their save game until they download their save game to PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.
