Halo Infinite Dev Looking To Create More “Serial Narrative Content”
343 Industries, the developer of Halo Infinite, has posted a series of job postings related to the expansion and development of the free-to-play multiplayer game through various online service initiatives. One of them is a vacancy for a monetization designer, published January 2022, which encourages a person to create “new permanent experiences” for the game. This person will help create the “next steps of Halo Infinite free to play”, including developing monetization strategies.
“This role will focus on in-game initiatives focused on player engagement and long-term player progression, as well as a player-centric store and monetization model. This role will work closely with our development, marketing, business and analytics teams. among other things, to collect and understand data about our players so that your projects are in line with the goals of our studio, ”says the job posting.
Written job posting for director also published January 2022 is asking a person to join a team that will work alongside Halo Infinite’s creative executives to develop “highly innovative and engaging serial narrative content” for Halo Infinite’s free-to-play multiplayer game. “Work closely with the Halo Franchise Team to ensure that Seasonal Story content not only builds on existing Halo lore but adds exciting new chapters to the larger Halo story,” the job posting reads.
The free-to-play multiplayer game Halo Infinite, like many other games, takes a seasonal approach, with new content planned to be released on a regular basis. Season 1 is underway right now, while Season 2 is expected to arrive later this year, featuring Forge and the co-op campaign, among other things.
Not everything 343 has tried with Halo Infinite multiplayer has been enjoyed by fans so far. In particular, players have raised concerns about in-store prices for cosmetic content. In response, 343 announced that it would cut prices across the board.
