Horizon Forbidden West’s Latest Patch Finally Reduces How Often Aloy Mentions Her Stash

The latest Horizon Forbidden West patch fixes several gameplay, quest, and graphical issues, and reduces the frequency of Aloy mentioning her stash.

Guerrilla Games has announced its massive patch 1.06 on Reddit and also reports what he’s still working on, which is fixing occasional graphics issues, Firegleam icons won’t disappear, and 100% completion isn’t confirmed in the main menu.

Removed dozens of bugs affecting main quests, including Varl getting stuck swimming in Reach for the Stars, indoor snow in The Dying Lands, and Aloy getting stuck on the floor in Seeds of the Past.

Horizon Forbidden West: The biggest changes since Horizon Zero Dawn

The side quests The Blood Choke, The Promontory, The Wound in the Sand, and A Tribe Apart also received fixes.

The patch also fixes several issues with open-world activity, including haptic feedback triggering when standing next to a campfire and incorrect carcasses appearing in some salvage contracts.

But perhaps most importantly for many players, this patch reduces the frequency of Aloy talking about her stash when she’s packing. How often she does this has become a meme; nearly every flower, twig, and berry collected is accompanied by some variation of “I’ll send this to my stash.” Now, finally, she won’t do it as often.

While Guerrilla acknowledges that not all of the reported graphical issues have yet to be fixed, it does address about a dozen issues such as some parts of the environment appearing in greater detail and blurring of Aloy’s clothes in photo mode.
