ICYMI: Bandai Namco Gives Fans Another Look At The New Digimon Survive Trailer

In case you missed it, this is the latest look at the survival strategy RPG that has been repeatedly delayed over the past few years. The latest failures are due to the fact that a new development team is currently working on the game. The good news is that the release is apparently getting closer and fans will have to wait “just a little longer”.

Here’s what producer Kazumasa Habu had to say in the latest development update (via Gematsu):

“In response to our request for requests, we received a number of questions regarding the status of development Digimon survive. We are very sorry to have kept you waiting, although you were looking forward to it. We once again apologize for not providing any new information and/or keeping you waiting. We sincerely apologize for the delay.

“As we have already informed you, we once delayed the release due to a change in the development team, and now we are working on the game with a new development team. The change of teams resulted in a lot of rework in the game, resulting in delays. This caused a lot of uncertainty that prevented us from providing regular updates. However, thanks to the efforts of the new development team, we can now get back on track, getting closer and closer to the end of the game.

“As for the release date information, it is expected to take a little longer as we are still adjusting it internally. Once again, we sincerely apologize for the delay. But we would be grateful if you could wait a little longer.”
