Nab this RTX 3060-powered gaming desktop at a budget gaming desktop price

Start the week right with this Newegg Flash Sale on ABS Master Gaming PC for 1000 dollars until the end of the day. That’s $400 below the advertised price, which officially knocks it out of budget PC price territory, which is always a good thing. It’s also a decent starter PC that will give you a good foundation if you’re looking to upgrade in the future, but there’s no cash flow just yet.

Behind the Master’s stylish LED strip bezel hides solid hardware for low-key gaming. It features 16GB DDR RAM, a 512TB M.2 NVMe SSD, and an Intel Core Intel i5 11400F processor paired with a 12GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (manufacturer may vary). It already has Windows 11 installed, so don’t worry about compatibility issues.

In terms of gaming, 1080p is where you’ll likely be playing most of your games, though your mileage will vary with frame rates. A safe bet is to stick with medium settings, which will leave you around 60fps in most modern games. I’m not saying you can’t play at 1440p, but for the best experience, stick with 1080p.

The 512GB NVMe SSD isn’t too bad, but I can see it fills up quickly if you’re going to be using this thing exclusively for gaming, so consider upgrading with the economy.

The RTX 3060 is a decent GPU, although it would be nice if it was a 3060 Ti as it’s not that much more expensive; however, you’ll be happy with the performance as long as you don’t set your expectations too high, and this is an RTX GPU, so you’ll get all the benefits that come with it, like DLSS and ray tracing.

This is a hot sale item, so there is a good chance it will be sold out long before the timer runs out. Even if that happens, more desktops in stock are a good sign, as it means system builders are starting to get more GPUs and CPUs.
