New Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Trailer Out Now, Poster Has Fun Reference To 1992 Game

Paramount also announced a special preview screening of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on Wednesday, April 6, ahead of the film’s wide release on Friday, April 8. visit this ticketing site and search for an early access screening to find a cinema near you. Everyone who attends one of the early access screenings will also receive a print created by Sonic video game artist Tyson Hesse, as well as limited edition comics featuring exclusive theater art from Sonic series illustrator and animator Natalie Furdrain.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 sees Sonic return from the 2020 movie to take on Jim Carrey’s Dr. Robotnik again. This time, Robotnik is working with Knuckles (Idris Elba), but Sonic also has a new partner, Tails (voiced by Collin O’Shaughnessy from the games). Ben Schwartz returns as the voice of Sonic, with Tika Sumpter and James Marsden also reprising their characters.
Oscar-nominated director Jeff Fowler returns with a direct sequel to the screenplay written by Pat Casey, John Miller, and John Whittington.
2020’s Sonic the Hedgehog is one of the highest-grossing video game movies of all time, and it’s about to be superseded by Sony’s Uncharted.
