Nintendo 64 Platformer ‘Glover’ Returns, Just Not On Switch

Who remembers Glover from Interactive Studios? If you have an N64, you’ve probably caught a few 3D platformers from Super Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie and its sequels to Goemon’s Great Adventure and Chameleon Twist. There was an overabundance of them in the system, but not many of them were ported to other systems.

Glover, however, is bucking the trend. On April 20, you can play Glover, courtesy of Piko Interactive, on something that not an N64 cart, a PlayStation disc, or an old PC CD (remember those?). Unfortunately, it won’t appear on the console you’re expecting – at least not yet.

While the game is currently only announced for Steam, it seems silly that the N64 port of the game won’t make it to the Switch given its origins. However, if you have a Steam deck, we hope it’s compatible so you can still play it in the palm of your hand in a few weeks.

Would you like to see a Glover port on the switch? It doesn’t seem to be a problem, right? What other N64 classics would you like to re-release? Let us know about it in the comments!
