PlayStation Plus March Lineup Includes Ghostrunner, GoT Legends

While many of you are no doubt looking forward to the release of this completely unknown game called ancient ring, which releases this week, PlayStation Plus subscribers who don’t feel the urge to throw themselves into the relentless gauntlet of a new Soulsborne game can try out some of the new games for free as a treat. That’s right, a new month means a new lineup of PS Plus games, and this time Sony has announced a pretty impressive lineup. Traditionally, the following games are only “free” for players with an active PlayStation Plus subscription.

Here it all goes to PS Plus in March:

  • The Ark: Survival Evolved
  • Team Sonic Racing
  • Ghost of Tsushima: Legends

  • ghost runner
  • Ghost of Tsushima: Legends

Although I personally did not bite when Ark: survival evolution was originally released in June 2015. I can’t deny that my desire to ride a dinosaur (which never had feathers at all in history!) is still on fire. Now might be the right time to give The ark whirlpool. In this MMO survival game, players compete against each other in a prehistoric battle of the strongest, using dinosaurs to help them get through and conquer the deadly world.

Team Sonic Racing comes to PS Plus at a convenient time, considering Sonic the Hedgehog 2 comes out in theaters next month. In this 2019 installment, Sonic and his friends compete in, you guessed it, a team-based kart game lavishly studded with items and power-ups. My guess is that Sony wanted to capitalize on the enthusiasm of Idris Elba’s fans by giving them the opportunity to fantasize about his sultry voice as Knuckles as he circles around Sonic. Which begs the question, why does Sonic even need a car if he’s so fast?

However, the strong players in this lineup come from Sony diving twice into some ghost games with the duo ghost runner as well as Ghost of Tsushima: Legends.

Ghost runner is a cyberpunk first-person platformer developed by One More Level that was released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC back in October 2020. You slash and cut your way through waves of enemies with your katana. You may find that the game’s story is a little lost as you lean forward in your seat and your eyes cloud over with all the dizzying cyberpunk ninja feats you perform.

Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is an offline multiplayer game that the developer Sucker Punch has included as a patch update to the base game back in October 2020. In legends includes two-player co-op story missions with progressively more difficult enemies and useful power-ups, a four-player survival mode where you and your friends defend bases, and a three-part raid where some nice loot awaits at the end of each challenge.

Here’s what’s leaving PS Plus on February 28:

  • UFC 4
  • Planet Coaster: Console Edition
  • Tiny Tina’s Assault on the Dragon Fortress: A One-Time Adventure in Wonderland
