PlayStation State Of Play March 9: Start Time And How To Watch

Sony has announced the following PlayStation game status event for today, March 9. And it will focus on games published in Japan that will be released on both PS4 and PS5. The 20-minute presentation will include announcements of new games in addition. To updates to previously announced games.

PlayStation State of Play, which is essentially Sony’s take on Nintendo Direct presentations. Will be available to watch via YouTube as well as twitch. You can also view it right here.

It will begin at 2:00 PM PT / 5:00 PM ET and will run for approximately 20 minutes. Other time zones are listed below:

  • 16:00 CT
  • 5:00 pm ET
  • 22:00 GMT
  • 9:00 AM ACT (March 10)

What to expect

Those 20 minutes will be primarily dedicated to games from Sony’s Japanese publishing partners for PS4 and PS5. Although Sony has said that several other partners from around the world will also be featured. That could mean updates to games like Final Fantasy XVI. Though it’s certainly unclear what the unannounced games will be. What we won’t see is more information about PSVR 2 – neither hardware nor games – so we should expect more news on that later.
