Pokemon Presents February 2022: Everything Announced During the Pokemon Day 2022 Celebration
Pokemon turns 26 today, and the Pokemon Company celebrated by sharing Pokemon Presents, which revealed, among other things, that the open-world Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are coming to Nintendo Switch in 2022. Pokemon Day 2022 also introduced new updates to Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, and Shining Pearl, to name a few. Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet announced for late 2022
Generation 9 will officially start later this year when Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet arrive on the Nintendo Switch in 2022. This open-world game, “in which various borderless cities seamlessly transition into the wilderness,” will be an “evolutionary” step for the Pokemon franchise. We’ve also been introduced to the new starter Pokémon, and they’re great. When the trainers set off on their journey, they will have to choose between Sprigatito the grass cat, Fuecoco the fire crocodile, or Quaxly the water duck.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus Daybreak update coming later today
Pokemon Legends: Arceus’ Daybreak Update (Version 1.1.0) will be released later today and will see trainers “investigating the mysterious massive outbreaks of Pokemon that are appearing across the HIsui region.” They will also be able to take on “powerful foes such as Legendary Pokémon and Guardians, adding even more options to the Pokémon battle experience.”
Players will also be able to receive 30 Ultra Balls, Gigaton Balls, and Jet Balls by entering the password ARCEUSADVENTURE in the Mystery Gifts menu until March 31, 2022.
In addition, an online animated series will appear in the Hisui region of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, which will be released later in 2022 with an original story.
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl trainers will be able to add Shaymin to their party
Using an item called Oak’s Letter, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl players will be able to capture the Mythical Shaymin by talking to Professor Oak on Route 224.
Pokemon GO will add Pokémon from the Alola region on March 1
The Pokémon that Pokemon Sun and Moon’s Alola call home will start appearing in Pokemon GO starting March 1st. Until then, Alolan Form Exeggutor will be available for fishing.
Pokemon Masters EX celebrates 2.5 years with free gifts
In honor of Pokemon Day and 2.5 years since the release of Pokemon Masters EX, players can earn 3,000 gems for free and search for 10 sync pairs every day for 10 days. Trainers Mei, Skyla, and Raihan will also be available in special outfits.
Pokemon Cafe Remix adds bonuses for Pokemon Day 2022
In celebration of Pokémon Day 2022, Pokemon Cafe Remix players will be able to receive a Bulbasaur Holiday Outfit login bonus, a “4-day Shiny Piplup Chance Boost” and the chance to try out the new in-game delivery feature 11 times for free.
Pokemon Unite players can try out Mythic Pokemon Hoopa and get a license
Mythical Pokemon Hoopa has joined Pokemon UNITE and all players can try them out for free as part of the Pokemon Day 2022 celebration. In addition, those who log in between now and March 14 will receive an in-game Pokémon Day hat and t-shirt. Finally, furious battles were shown, and Duraludon was announced as the next Pokémon to join the roster.
