Pokémon Scarlet and Violet starters come to Animal Crossing in mod

Doom Desire told Polygon on Twitter that they did this by taking villager models from the game and modifying them to look like every Pokémon. From there, they used the 3D modeling software Blender and the Switch Toolbox to edit the Switch game files. After that, they used the hacked Switch to insert their user files into the game.
Doom Desire makes mods for Animal Crossing for fun and has stated that it originally planned to make a mod for village Pokémon after the game.
