Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Violet Announced, Releasing Worldwide On Switch In “Late 2022”

 

The latest Pokémon Presents just went out with a bang, introducing two brand new games, Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Purple. Looks like it’s Generation 9 and it’s coming later this year to the Nintendo Switch. Along with live cinematography mixed in with some gameplay footage, The Pokémon Company also introduced the new starter Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Trainers will once again have the choice of a herbal (Sprigatito), fire (Fuecoco), or water (Quaxly) pocket monster. It is also confirmed to be an “open world” game. That Pokemon Scarlet as well as Pokemon Purple games, the latest chapters in the Pokémon series, are coming to Nintendo Switch later this year. With these new games, the Pokémon series takes a new evolutionary step, allowing you to freely explore a richly defined open world.

The three Pokemon from which you will be able to choose your first partner are Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. How will you meet these three and what kind of Pokémon are they?

In the role of one of the main characters, you will go on your own adventure. Your outfit will change depending on whether you are playing Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Purple.
