Nintendo has been incredibly protective of its intellectual property. Largely maintaining control and exclusivity across its platforms. except for the occasional arcade machine. This makes the “Zelda” trilogy on Philips CD-i especially exciting (the system also had Mario titles) as they are quirky. Almost cult classics despite their various issues. They are not canon, of course! These games came to mind today when we saw information about Nobelia. The new Philips CD-i game from TwBurn. Initially, it is sold on its Official site as a physical edition, with the assurance that it has been tested on several iterations of the CD-i hardware. It costs between 35 and 40 euros depending on the region, while US consumers can go to Good Deal Games where it is $34.95.
