Star Trek Online ships are now canon after Picard Season 2 reveal

Season 2 of Star Trek: Picard is finally here, and eagle-eyed Star Trek Online fans will notice a few familiar ships in the premiere episode. Arc Games has confirmed that four Star Trek Online ships are now canon, with several more from the Lower Decks animated series.

To celebrate the news, Arc Games is offering several ships and a special Picard uniform in-game from March 3, 8:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM ET / 4:00 PM GMT until March 10, 10:00 AM PT / 13:00 ET / 18:00 GMT. . For the first time, players will be able to get the new Inquiry-class ship in the Lobi Shop for 1200 Lobi. And more good news, you’ll also get 20% off the Lobi store sale, which means you only cost 960 Lobi.

The three Zen Store ships being canonized are Gargarin, Reliant, and Sutherland, all of which will be on sale at 30% off. Finally, there’s Ross, who is part of the Star Trek Online Legendary 10th Anniversary 10 Ships Pack, and Picard’s 2399 uniform.

It’s great to see Star Trek Online participating in the main canon, especially along with Picard’s story as we get closer to Season 2. Thomas Marrone and Hector Ortiz, Star Trek Online’s Associate Art Director and Senior Concept Artist respectively, collaborated with Picard’s production team to design the USS Stargazer, a Sagan-class ship equipped with Borg technology, as confirmed by Cryptic. If that doesn’t get you excited about season 2, I don’t know what will.
