Star Trek: Resurgence: See Spock in the First-Ever Gameplay of this Post-TNG Adventure – IGN First
Our first IGN “cover” this month is Star Trek:
Rebirth, the upcoming post-TNG adventure from longtime Telltale developer (and longtime LucasArts adventure game creator!) Kevin Bruner and his new team at Dramatic Labs, which is made up of many former developers telltale. Star Trek: Resurgence is a narrative adventure game where you can freely explore parts of your ship and, yes, strange new worlds, making dialogue choices along the way as one of two playable characters whose points of view change as the game progresses. – by the way, not sporadically – progressing.
The first-ever uncut piece of gameplay, which you can see in the video at the top of this page (you can also see the trailer from The Game Awards 2021 right above this sentence if you missed it), features Ambassador Spock – whose voice actors are oddly similar on Leonard Nimoy, giving your character a debriefing before a key mission. Please note that the footage you see is still early; Dramatic Labs was kind enough to give us a first look at what to expect.
Star Trek: Resurgence is due out later this year for PC (via the Epic Games Store), PlayStation, and Xbox
