Trading Time: A Croak Tale Gets A New Name And Fresh Details

British publisher Merge Games have announced that its new game, Trading Time: The Story of the Croak, has a new name. Now called Time on Frog IslandIn this sandbox puzzle adventure game, a sailor is shipwrecked on an island inhabited by frog-like creatures.

Based on that alone, we think the name change is perfect. That’s exactly the approach Merge Games, and developer Half Past Yellow had after working with the community and testers.

IN Time on Frog Island, a sailor is shipwrecked on a strange island after a terrible storm, and he wakes up to find his boat in ruins. Clutching his precious potted plant, the sea dog tries to fix his boat and find his way home. However, the peculiar frog-like locals do not speak his language and are not going to give up the items he needs without something in return! A network of spaghetti professions will take him all over this strange island as he searches for materials to fix his boat.
