Umbrella Academy season 3 cast photos, teaser, Netflix release date revealed
Last season umbrella academy debuted on Netflix in July 2020, roughly 800 years ago. Casting rumors have since circulated hints of a season 3 plot that will plunge into an alternate timeline thanks to time travel jokes and introduce another group of Reginald’s kids: Sparrow Academy. But at SXSW 2022, showrunner Steve Blackman announced that umbrella academy Season 3 is finally upon us. The season will premiere this June, and there is footage to prove it.
Along with the teaser trailer, Netflix revealed the official synopsis for the season:
Will they find a way to return to their pre-apocalyptic life? Or will this new world show more than just a glitch in the timeline?
Umbrella academy Season 3 stars Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Ritu Arya, Adam Godley, and Colm Feore. Justin Cornwell joined the cast as Sparrows (Jingle Jungle: Christmas Journey), Britne Oldford (Hunters), Jake Epstein (Suits), Genesis Rodriguez (Big hero 6), and Kazzi David. Plus, Justin H. Min is back as Ben but in Sparrow’s version.
