You Could Win Some Gold Points In The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe North American Open
Nintendo continues to push online play and competitive play in some key titles, though it doesn’t blow the doors down or get a lot of attention. In particular, Nintendo vs. The account highlights frequent competition in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Splatoon 2 in particular.
The next MK8 Deluxe North American Open has received additional publicity from the wider Nintendo of America account, which is no doubt due to the expected DLC release this week via the “Booster Course Pass”.
Like previous competitions of this type, it is played through the official “Tournaments” in the game and is only open to North American players aged 13+. These “open” events have been around for a long time, although hopefully with new content in ML8 Deluxe – and increased PR promotion – they will grow in popularity and lead to Nintendo upping the ante in its various games.
